This Monday , RRA Senior Management, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) engaged in a dialogue centered on Gender Equality in Tax Administration and the effective implementation of the Gender Equality Seal Program. The purpose of the dialogue was to strategize how the Gender Equality Seal (GES) Program could be adapted to significantly influence tax policies.
UNDP’s and RRA signed a MOU contribute to creating an environment free from GENDER-based discrimination
During the discussion, the Commissioner General of RRA, Pasca Ruganintwali; emphasized RRA’s commitment as a law-abiding institution to providing equal opportunities for both men and women. He also expressed appreciation for UNDP’s support in implementing the agreements.

As a concrete step towards their shared objectives, UNDP and RRA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU aims to facilitate cooperation towards the overarching goal of fostering a tax system and fiscal policies that actively contribute to creating an environment free from gender-based discrimination.
