COVID-19: Rwanda extends lockdown till April 30th

The government of Rwanda has taken decision of 11-day extension on the current lockdown which was meant to end on Sunday, April 19.

A cabinet meeting chaired by President Paul Kagame on Friday, April 17, approved that the lockdown has been extended until April 30th, 2020 to further contain the outbreak

Currently Rwanda has had 143 COVID-19 cases in total, including 65 recoveries to bring the number of active cases to 78.
